1、gas/air/atmosphere

gas指可流动的并能够四处扩散的微小分子，即所谓的“气体”，也可以指“煤气”；

air指围绕在我们周围的、供我们呼吸的空气，是多种气体（gas）的混合物；

atmophere则是指围绕在地球外的大气层。

另外，atmosphere和air都可以用来形容团体互动中所产生的感受或情绪上的紧张，也可以形容某人所流露出的态度，如：She carried an air of superiority.

2、in the corner

当我们要表达某物处于某一事物内部的角落时，需要使用in the corner。

而表达在某一条路的转角时，则需要使用at the corner。
